Riley Robert is a student focused on all things computer science and design. He was born November 8th, 2005, and graduated from Twin Valley South High School.

Through his junior and senior years of high school, he attended the Miami Valley Career Technology Center campus, able to persue his passion of computer coding, learning C++, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and PHP at the college level

He plans to attend The University of Oregon in 2024, mastering his profficency in coding.

Beyond coding, Riley is also a novice author, focusing on fantasy stories. Although none officially published, he has written a few short stories and poems:

Riley comes from a modest past. His parents, Sharon and Ron Robert, supported the family as a stay-at-home mom and salesman father respectively.

They lived in West Alexandria, Ohio, and the family's stable income allowed him to discover the wonders of technology very young.

At age 5, his parents entered into the foster care system. This eventually led to them adopting or gaining custody of his 3 siblings: Adian, Jessa, and Joleah.

Riley has 4 other siblings, Hannah, Heather, Ryan, and Randall, all of which moved out by the time Riley started school.

Riley attended Twin Valley South exclusively until his junior year of high school. He was often regarded as "gifted" by his peers, and rarely had to worry about schoolwork.

His time was mostly spent indoors, playing games with his school-friends when he could, and slowly becoming far more fluent in technology than his parents as time went on.

It was during his two years in middle school where he decided he wanted to pursue computer sciences.

Riley truly found himself in high school. Courses became far more challenging, and no longer could he simply let the wind carry him.

It was during this time that he began to explore himself. His passion for computers never waivered, but he found more: writing, video editing, and E-sports.

He began to write stories in his free time, edit together short, music-scyned videos, and practice both the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate and Splatoon games.

Riley also worked at Sarah's Pizza in his hometown during his high school years, as well as attending Miami Valley Career Technology Center.

MVCTC gave him the ability to learn how to code in many languages, but it also showed him how much he had left to learn, and his limits.

His time at MVCTC was rigorous, but he came out far eager to learn than ever before.

Online, Riley is known under the username "booooooomko12," occasionally shortened to boomko12 or "Boom" by others for obvious reasons.

His YouTube channel is a showcase of his video editing skills a sample video of which you can watch above.

His twitter is often used for promoting his content, and connecting to artists, educational personalities, and others.

Riley's stories are not traditionally published (at the time of writing), but they have been shared over the internet to others who support him.

He hopes to, in college, continue working hard to pursue all of his interests to the fullest.

Currently, Riley's next goal will be to attend The University of Oregon in 2024, majoring in Computer Science.

As of November 30th, he has been accepted and has been awarded the Summit Scholarship, worth $50,000.

During and between this time, he hopes to continue building connections, pursuing his hobbies, and above all else, continue to learn anything and everything!
